Despan Heryansyah is an expert in the field of human rights and public policy, the rights of vulnerable groups, and local governance. His research focuses on issues related to the rights of persons with disabilities, women, and children, regional autonomy, and human rights in legislation. Some of his recent publications are related to the fulfillment of accessibility rights for persons with disabilities in the judicial system, regional autonomy in Indonesia, and the application of human rights in judicial decisions.
